Viveik
Oberoi
is
certainly
enjoying
his
new
innings
in
Bollywood.
While
on
one
end
his
Shootout
At
Lokhandwala
is
becoming
the
hottest
film
of
May,
a
week
later
arrives
his
Fool
N
Final,
which
has
all
the
ingredients
of
a
hit
film.
And
he
goes
solo
in
one
of
the
song
sequences
in
Fool
N
Final.
All this while, the focus on promotion of Fool N Final was either on song and dance sequences of Shahid Kapoor and Ayesha Takia or the comic track of Paresh Rawal and Johnny Lever. Now a twist in the story has come with Vivek Oberoi becoming the most prominent in the film promotion.
He
has
a
song
all
to
himself
in
the
film,
which
is
titled
"Ek
Kalsa".
Though
the
lyrics
of
the
song
may
not
make
much
sense,
what
has
worked
in
the
song's
favour
is
the
vision
of
producer
Firoz
Nadiadwala
and
director
Ahmed
Khan
that
has
elevated
the
song
to
a
different
level
altogether.
A tune by Himesh Reshammiya, it now boasts of superb visuals with the song's setting on the desert dunes of Dubai amongst many other outdoor locations. Bearing an up market look throughout, what also stands out in the song is Viveik's new look that takes his dude image forward with the casual dance moves suiting his personality.
Firoz Nadiadwala has always been known for making 'item films' and with this latest 'item song' being choreographed on Viveik Oberoi, one only expects further elevation to film's box office prospects.
