Aamir becomes a victim of Tibetan protests

Aamir Khan who was supposed to be one of the six Indian torch bearers for the Beijing Olympics has been caught in another controversy. A Tibetan protester has threatened to burn himself if the actor does not disassociate himself with the Olympic torch. Aamir was supposed to take part in the torch relay on April 17 in New Delhi.

This is not the first time that the actor has got involved in a political moment. His comments on the Narmada Bachao Aandolan had angered a section of political class so much so that they did not allow the release of his subsequent movies in Gujarat. The Tibetan nationals have protesting against the atrocities done by the Chinese Government against the people of Tibet.
