Advani cries watching Taare Zameen Par

There is a saying politicians don't have heart. This might have been proved wrong as senior BJP leader L K Advani cried after watching Aamir's directorial debut Taare Zameen Par. Advani watched the movie at a special screening arranged by Aamir Khan at Prasar Bharati's Film Division auditorium accompanied by a few other politicians.

The veteran politician was in all praise for Aamir and said that he had not watched such a good movie for a long time. He also praised Aamir and the script writer Amole Gupte for making movie on such a difficult subject. Aamir had arranged this special screening after he came to know Advani was keen to watch the movie.

Advani had also watched Aamir's Oscar nominated movie Lagaan and liked it very much. Very few people are aware of the fact that Advani started his career as a movie critic and continues to be a movie buff. This might prove to be a boon for Aamir who had to face ban on his movies in Gujarat by the BJP after he supported the Narmada Bachao Andolan in 2006.
