Akshay-Govinda film delayed

Ratan Jain of Venus Records&Tapes Pvt. Ltd. has some big movies planned for the year. Amongst the multiple projects that his company is planning for 2008, two ventures, both comedy films, one directed by Priyadarshan starring Akshay Kumar and the other by David Dhawan, with the first time pairing of David, Govinda and Akshay, are the pick of the lot and sounds most interesting.

The reason is very obvious. Priyadarshan-Akshay Kumar and David Dhawan-Govinda teams are almost invincible and have given tons of hits together!

While the Priyan-Akki project will go on the floors only in September, David Dhawan's Govinda-Akshay project, which was expected to be launched this Friday (15th February), has been delayed. Though no specific reason has been attributed for the delay, the film is now expected to roll in mid-April.
