Akshay and Tina to host grand Diwali bash

Akshay Kumar and wife Twinkle will host a grand Diwali bash on October 28 at their Juhu residence. An insider tells all, "Last week, at Shabina Khan's party, Twinkle and Akshay were seen informally inviting people to their Diwali party. Akshay and Tina have never hosted a big bash for their friends and family. But this has been a hugely successful year for the actor, and they felt it was time to host a grand bash to celebrate. Tina has been calling people to keep themselves free on the night of the party. Akshay is currently in Cape Town shooting for Nagesh Kukunoor's Eight By Ten, but he will fly down for a day to be by his biwi's side."

The guest list consists of the who's who of B-Town. The source adds, "The party is being held on the lawns of their Juhu flat. Apart from close friends like Vipul Shah, Kareena Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Vivek Oberoi, Sajid Nadiadwala, Sajid Khan, Rani Mukherjee and Katrina Kaif, the Bachchans and the other Khans are also being invited. The Chopras Yash, Pamela and Aditya have also been invited along with Karan and Hiroo Johar and Farah Khan and Shirish Kunder. David Dhawan, Anil Kapoor, Anees Bazmee are also on the list."

The Bachchans are expected to attend. Says the source, "Amitabh is very fond of Akshay while Twinkle's sister Rinke and Shweta Nanda get along very well. Aishwarya and Abhishek are expected to attend. Gauri and Shah Rukh Khan won't be atending as they will bere going to Delhi with Gauri's parents. Salman will returns to Mumbai on October 25 and has been invited along with his family, Sohail-Seema, Malaika-Arbaaz and Amrita Arora. Salman and Akshay who have worked together in many films bond well."
