Akshay not paid Rs.71 crore

Some section of the media reported that Akshay Kumar has been paid Rs.71 crore for a film by UTV. However, the production house clarified that the report is not true.

In a press statement, UTV stated that the speculation on Akshay's fee is disturbing and damaging the company and its shareholders. The statement said that the fee offered to Akshay is not even half the amount reported by the media.
