Amisha Patel
Amisha Patel got into bridal finery recently. No, it wasn't a dress rehearsal for a shaadi to beau Kanav Puri, it was for a photo session for fashion magazine, Verve. The actress reveals, "It was a special issue on bridalwear and I was very flattered when I was asked to be the cover girl. They felt I would be the perfect blushing bride. The theme was The Runaway Bride and it features Louis Vuitton luggage."

Amisha is the first Indian actress to be photographed at the hauntingly beautiful Chambord Chateau in Loire Valley, France. Ameesha says, "It's a three-hour drive from Paris and I stayed overnight in the most beautiful room overlooking the chACteau moat."

Amisha, who is also an avid follower of ancient architecture says, "It was stunning. Apparently Leonardo Da Vinci, who was a guest of King FranAsois I (who built the Chateau ) was responsible for the original design. We have shots on the staircase which was created by Da Vinci and I felt it was a sacrilege to step on such hallowed grounds. I felt as if I was in in a time warp. My friends call me Princess Patel and when they saw the Verve cover they said the title was apt for me."

Amisha is the unofficial brand ambassador for LV. She laughs, "I love all kinds of luxury brands. I bought my first LV handbag at 16! At 18, I bought my first Chanel bag and in school, I'd carry a Moschino bag to school. It was so small that all it could fit was a pencil case. But it looked so good that it was all that mattered." After the shoot, the actress picked up an LV bag, "It's a very colorful, limited edition bag. It's hand painted and primarily in pink my favorite colour. I also bought a Bottega Venetta."
