Big B fights diabetes in Leicester

Superstar Amitabh Bachchan may be busy jet-setting across the world with his Unforgettable Tour but that doesn't stop him from extending a helping hand to socially relevant causes.

The superstar will now join Indian origin M.P. Keith Vaz at the opening of new premises for diabetes charity in Leicester. The charity was launched by Vaz after he himself was diagnosed diabetic.

Fans in Leicester are bound to throng the new premises in large numbers to get a dekko of Bollywood's biggest superstar. The new building of the Silver Star Appeal will help support the work of the Leicester-based charity which aims to raise awareness about diabetes and provide free blood sugar tests through mobile assessment units.

Needless to say, Vaz is delighted to have Big B's support for this noble cause.
