Amitabh plants trees in Bangkok

Dr. R K Pachauri was honoured by IIFA with the 'Global Business Leadership Award' at the FICCI-IIFA Global Business Forum in Bangkok. The ceremony was addressed by the 'Star of the millennium' Mr. Amitabh Bachchan who introduced the audiences to Dr. Pachauri and his work.

The award had the presence of world business leaders and dignitaries gathered to discuss issues of global significance. An audio-visual profile on Dr. Pachauri was shown to the audience.

Dr Pachauri addressed the issues on Climate Change and the initiatives that Corporates can take to ensure sustainable development and combat climate change. Later, Dr. Pachauri and Mr. Bachchan planted tress in Lumpini Park, located in the heart of Bangkok.
