Anil Kapoor realises his London Dreams

Anil Kapoor and wife Sunita are making major investments in property in India and abroad. Reveals a source in the film industry, "Anil Kapoor and Sunita have bought a flat in London. Their flat is housed in a building in North Audley Street, Mayfair. The flat is above Starbucks Coffee Company near Marble Arch Tube Station in Central London.

It's a nice, airy apartment with a double bedroom, living room, fully fitted kitchen and bathroom with gas central heating. London real estate is extremely expensive and Anil has spent a bomb on it. It has cost him around 3 million pounds (above 20 crore) approximately."

It is believed that the actor wants to put the apartment on rent for sometime so that it can pay for itself.

The source adds, "Sunita is also looking to buy property in Mumbai. She has ambitious plans of setting up one of the finest film studios in Mumbai, is equipped with all the latest in pre and post-production. It's all hush-hush as she has been approaching estate agents quietly, including the London flat. If there is an announcement it will create tax problems for them.

Sunita's sister-in-law Mona Kapoor (producer Boney kapoor's wife and Anil's elder brother) has one of the best studios in Mumbai, the Future Studios in Goregaon and today Sunita also wants one as it's very profitable. Anil has his own production house so he can also shoot all his films there."Anil Kapoor says, "This is the biggest joke I have heard. I wish I could afford to buy a flat in London. There must be some confusion. You must have got me confused with Anil Ambani."
