After the super success of Shoot Out at Lokhandwala in the year 2007, Apoorva Lakhia readies for his next directorial venture Mission Istanbul. The film is a Balaji Motion Pictures Ltd presentation, produced by Popcorn Motion Pictures Pvt Ltd.

The film directed by Apoorva Lakhia features Viveik Oberoi, Zayed Khan, Shriya Saran, Shabbir Ahluwalia, Nikitan Dheer, introducing Shwetta Bharadwaj, Abhishek Bachchan in a guest appearance and Suniel Shetty. Shobhaa Kapoor, Suniel Shetty, Shabbir Boxwala, Ekta Kapoor are the producers of Mission Istanbul, with story by Suresh Nair, Music by Annu Mallik.
