If
all
things
had
been
well,
Ayesha
Takia,
would've
been
in
the
middle
of
her
wedding
ceremonies
at
the
moment.
But
following
the
26/11
terrorist
attacks
on
Mumbai,
the
actress
and
her
fiance,
restaurateur
Farhan
Azmi
decided
to
push
their
wedding
to
next
year.
And
the
actress
who'd
been
refusing
films
for
the
last
six
months,
has
now
signed
a
new
film!
The
actress
has
taken
up
south
director
Revathi's
(not
to
be
confused
with
Revathy
of
Mitr
and
Phir
Milenge)
next
film.
Says
Ayesha,
"It's
a
woman-oriented
subject
and
a
very
interesting
concept.
It's
a
sweet
story,
and
is
based
on
the
director's
life."
She
will
have
three
big
releases
coming
up
in
2009
Wanted,
Tasveer
and
Paathshala
the
year
she
will
also
tie
the
knot.
However
she
is
unwilling
to
disclose
the
wedding
date,
"As
of
nothing
has
been
fixed.
Let's
take
it
as
it
comes."
The
actress
stresses
that
she
isn't
disappointed
about
the
postponement
of
her
wedding,
"The
cancellation
is
nothing
compared
to
the
grief
the
people
in
Mumbai
have
faced
in
the
last
month.
It's
better
to
push
my
wedding
back
by
a
few
months
than
even
think
of
celebrating
at
a
time
like
this."
Ayesha
concludes
by
saying,
that
she
and
Farhan
won't
be
joining
in
the
Christmas
or
New
Year's
Eve
celebrations
this
year,
"We
will
sit
at
home
and
just
spend
time
with
our
loved
ones." She
echoes
the
sentiments
of
most
Mumbaikars,
who
came
so
close
to
losing
their
near
and
dear
ones.
