Yesterday, Sajid Nadiadwala signed Deepika Padukone for his next yet-untitled flick. It is to be directed by Sajid Khan, whose sister Farah directed the actress in her debut, Om Shanti Om. Deepika confirms the development, "Yes. I am part of Sajid Khan"s film produced by Sajid Nadiadwala opposite Akshay Kumar."

Says Nadiadwala, "Sajid Khan's film will also have Riteish Deshmukh, another hero and two more heroines. It's a romantic comedy. I have always believed in working with the best — Tabu, Karisma, Rani, Preity, Priyanka and now Kareena and Deepika. Sajid (Khan) met with Deepika in Bangkok. She loved the story and said yes."

Nadiadwala's next will be Shaabir Khan's Kambakht Ishq (Akshay and Kareena) followed by Sajid Khan"s movie. After that will be Siddharth Anand's movie with Saif Ali Khan, Ranbir Kapoor and Kareena.

Says Farah Khan, "I am very happy for Deepika and Sajid (Khan) though I don't even know what the story is. I don"t know what film he's making. It's news to me that Deepika has signed Sajid's film. Neither my brother nor Deepika tell me anything but it's very good that they are working together both will get along very well."
