Kajol's cousin to direct Ranbir and Konkona

As we had told you earlier this year, producer Karan Johar will be extremely busy with multiple projects under his banner, Dharma Productions. While we all know about the Abhishek-John-Priyanka starrer, Dostana, the animated Kuchie Kuchie Hota Hai, the Saif-Kareena-Vivek starrer and Karan's own directorial venture, My Name Is Khan, here is another one. And this one simply takes the cake, the reason being the unusual lead pair.

Well, as per sources, Kajol's first cousin, Ayaan, who also happens to be Karan's good friend, is all set to direct the unusual pair of the handsome Ranbir Kapoor and (believe it or not) the actress of substance, Konkona Sen Sharma! The script of the film is by the debutant director Ayaan himself. While on Ayaan, his credentials are already very impressive. For those who don't know, Ayaan assisted Karan Johar in Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna and also Ashutosh Gowariker in Swades.
