Saif and Kareena finally go solo

Lovebirds Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan will be performing their first solo show in Sharjah. Apart from working together in films and endorsements, Kareena and Saif are also looking at doing such shows together.

Like most Khans, Saif is a hot favourite in Dubai. And Kareena also has a huge fan-following there. So when the Morani brothers approached them for a show together, they were ecstatic. The Moranis are scripting and directing the show. The show, Jashan 2008, will be held at the Sharjah Stadium and the only other person who will part of this show along with Saif and Kareena is Minissha Lamba.

All three of them will have solo entries. Saif and Kareena will be doing their respective acts and for the first time, performing together. They have been rehearsing rigorously at the Shariq Hall for the last couple of days." Kareena says, "I am very excited about the show. This is the first time that Saif and I are performing together. I have got a huge fan following in Dubai because of Jab We Met."

Besides her solo act, Minissha is also performing a song with Saif. While Minissha will be performing Hum Tum songs with Saif, Sajanaji Vaari Vaari from Honeymoon Travels Pvt Ltd and will wear ghagra choli and a western outfit (designed by Reza Shariffi) for her performances. Kareena's outfits have been made by Manish Malhotra. Other performers will include Indian Idol contestants, Amit Paul, Ankita, Kashif and father-son singing duo Shabbir Kumar and Dilshad.
