Katrina becomes the highest paid item girl

Katrina Kaif's career took off last year and all her movie from Namestey London to Welcome did well at the box office. Katrina has now become the highest paid item girl in the industry with a whopping deal of Rs 1.5 crores for shaking her legs in Shree Ashtavinayak"s next movie Blue. The movie stars Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt and Lara Dutta.

Blue is being made at an estimated cost of Rs 100 crores. Katrina has confirmed the amount but did not call the song an item number but a special song sequence. Katrina had initially refused the offer as she did not want to be known as an item girl. She however agreed after she was offered a huge sum and some other scenes in the movie.
