The
Shahrukh-Salman
war
is
bound
to
impact
the
film
industry.
The
lines
have
been
clearly
drawn
and
whether
the
filmwallahs
like
it
or
not,
they
will
have
to
pick
a
side.
You
cannot
be
friends
with
both
SRK
and
Sallu.
The
Khan
men
expect
their
friends
to
prove
their
loyalty
be
it
producers,
directors
or
co-actors.
A
day
after
the
SRK-Sallu
showdown
at
Katrina's
birthday
bash,
Gauri
Khan
and
the
women
in
Salman's
family
decided
that
the
men
can
have
their
differences
but
they
won't
let
it
spoil
their
friendship.
Gauri
Khan
is
friends
with
Seema
Khan
(Sohail's
wife
and
Salman's
sister-in-law),
Bhavna
(Chunky)
Pandey,
Malaika
(Arbaaz)
Khan
and
Maheep
(Sanjay)
Kapoor.
Though
the
SRK-Salman
fight
shocked
them,
the
wives'
brigade
has
taken
a
conscious
decision
not
to
take
sides.
Sisterhood
stays
Says
a
close
friend,
"They
are
almost
like
sisters.
They
party
together,
shop
together
and
even
take
vacations
together.
Even
their
children
are
friends.
They
are
too
thick
to
let
this
jhagda
between
Shahrukh
and
Salman
affect
their
sisterhood."
Seema
is
also
related
to
Bhavana
(she
is
Chunky's
niece)
and,
is
also
close
friends
with
Gauri.
Gauri
trusts
her
gal
pals
enough
to
leave
her
children
with
them
when
she
travels
out
of
the
city.
Gauri
has
even
gone
out
of
her
way
to
promote
her
friends'
businesses.
She
modelled
for
Seema's
fashion
line
and
for
Maheep's
jewellery
line.
Her
friends
attended
all
the
Kolkata
Knight
Riders
matches
in
Kolkata
and
Mumbai.
It
seems
unlikely
they
will
want
to
break
this
beautiful
bond.
No
taking
sides
The
ladies
have
declared
their
decision
to
the
warring
men.
They
are
determined
not
to
take
sides
and
continue
with
their
close
friendship.
When
asked
if
the
fight
will
break
up
their
friendship
and
make
them
choose
sides
Maheep
Kapoor
says
firmly,
"Not
at
all!
Whatever
has
happened
has
got
nothing
to
do
with
us
and
neither
are
we
interested
in
taking
sides.
Things
will
remain
the
same.
We
won't
let
anything
affect
or
friendship."
Seema
Khan
was
unavailable
for
comment
while
sister-in-law
Malaika
Arora
says,
"Please
don't
involve
me
in
this." However
a
source
close
to
her
adds,
"Malaika
doesn't
want
to
comment
as
she
is
a
Khan
bahu.
Seema
and
Malaika
have
different
takes
as
their
equations
are
different
because
of
the
family
and
keeping
that
in
mind
it's
unfair
for
them
to
comment.
Malaika
believes
friendship
is
friendship
and
doesn't
want
to
mix
issues.
She
feels
all
of
this
will
die
a
natural
death
in
the
long
run."
