After
a
slight
dilly-dallying
in
the
last
few
weeks
w.r.t.
its
arrival
at
theaters,
Khushboo
has
finally
been
confirmed
for
its
release.
It
would
now
be
arriving
on
20th
June,
a
fortnight
after
the
Sarkar
Raj
euphoria
settles
down.
Confirms
a
source
attached
to
the
film's
production
team,
"We
had
to
be
protective
about
Khushboo
since
it
is
the
launch
pad
of
newcomers
Avantikka
and
Rishi
Rehan.
With
so
many
newcomers
arriving
around
the
same
time,
we
had
to
be
doubly
sure
about
the
day
when
the
film
would
be
out
at
theaters."
He
goes
on
to
add,
"We
concentrated
on
promoting
the
film's
music
in
the
meanwhile
and
by
the
grace
of
God,
it
has
picked
on
well.
Adnan
Sami's
music
carries
good
melody
which
goes
perfectly
fine
with
the
romantic
mood
of
Khushboo."
Ask
him
if
the
film
belongs
to
the
same
genre
as
a
DDLJ
or
Jab
We
Met,
as
suggested
by
the
young
look
and
feel
of
the
promos
and
he
winks,
"See
the
movie
to
know
whether
it
belongs
to
the
same
genre
or
belongs
to
a
league
of
its
own.
We
have
to
remember
that
the
film
is
a
Pahlaj
Nihalani
production
and
the
film
maker
has
launched
many
a
newcomers
in
the
past
while
having
worked
with
the
biggest
of
actors."
Directed
by
debutant
film
maker
Rajesh
Ram
Singh,
Khushboo
also
stars
Ninad
Kamat,
Raj
Babbar
and
Prem
Chopra.
The
film
is
releasing
alongside
two
other
young
films
-
De
Taali
and
Haal-E-Dil.
Incidentally
Haal-E-Dil
too
comprises
mainly
of
newcomers
and
would
be
acting
as
a
launch
pad
of
Nakuul
Mehta,
Amita
Pathak
and
Adhyayan
Suman.
Concludes
the
source,
"We
are
confident
about
our
film.
Khushboo
may
be
a
little
low
key
as
of
now
but
we
are
sure
that
good
word
of
mouth
would
take
it
through."
