Konkona busy for the President's coming

No, this has actually nothing much to do with Barack Obama becoming the next President Elect of the US. Actually gifted actress Konkona Sen Sharma is currently busy with a film called The President is Coming.

The movie is about six contestants, who play a game. It's about globalisation, and the obsession with the West. A competition is held, and whoever wins gets to meet the US President. Quite a unique subject, this one seems!

Much like actor-director mother Aparna Sen, she has tried to do better with every film and carve a niche for herself. From commercial films to offbeat roles in Hindi films to matured Bengali films she's done it well.

The movie will see the light of the day in September or October. So it seems Koko will be off the screen for a long time now. But she disagrees. She said, "I don't think it's long time. But yes... I was shooting all throughout the year. At times some films get delayed but there are quite a few now lined up for release."

Despite rumours of marriage and big Yash Raj flops of the Laaga Chinari Mein Daag and Aaja Nachle kinds, this gifted actress is not yet going away. Koko still has many aces up her sleeve!
