Tarun Mansukhani's Dostana is just about two months away but he already is moving ahead with his next film for Karan Johar's Koochie Koochie Hota Hai. Though this animation film based on Kuch Kuch Hota Hai was announced a few months now, the plans have now been confirmed for its release as well.

As per sources, Koochie Koochie Hota Hai is eyeing an August 2009 release. Apparently, the month of August is now being considered to be quite lucky for Bollywood, especially since Singh Is Kinng, Bachna Ae Haseeno, Phoonk as well as Rock On were released in the same month this year.

Coming back to Koochie Koochie Hota Hai, the film would feature animals in principal roles instead of humans, a new experience which is all set to make an impression with Yash Raj Films' Roadside Romeo (arriving this winter).

Koochie Koochie Hota Hai sees Karan Johar coming along with Prana Studios, a Los Angeles and Mumbai-based renowned 3D animation studio which would be co-producing the film. The film is touted to incorporate the latest innovations in computer graphics and promises to recreate the magic of the original film with the voice of the original cast - Shahrukh Khan, Kajol and Rani Mukherjee.

Meanwhile Tarun Mansukhani is ready with Dostana which is already carrying great reports. Response to the first promo which was unveiled three weeks back has been amazing due to which the film is already been looked at with keen interest. Starring Abhishek Bachchan, John Abraham and Priyanka Chopra in lead with Bobby Deol in a pivotal role, Dostana is confirmed for 14th November release.
