Mumbai (UNI) The story of Param Vir Chakra awardee and 1965 India-Pakistan war hero Abdul Hameed would soon be immortalised on the silver screen with Bhojpuri superstar manoj tiwari playing the lead. Sources close to the actor said the big-budget Hindi movie is being produced by Ashish Jaal and directed by Suja Ali.

Tiwari said he was excited to play the role of the war hero, as his widely known feat of blowing off some half a dozen Pakistani tanks in the 1965 war, was unforgettable. He also felt that playing the role would be a challenge for him. The film would be shot at various locations, including Ghazipur in Uttar Pradesh, the sources said.
