5
years
into
the
industry,
ever
since
she
made
her
debut
in
Qayamat,
and
one
can
confidently
say
that
Neha
Dhupia
has
really
managed
to
sort
out
her
career
rather
beautifully.
Known
for
making
bold
statements
and
carrying
out
bolder
outfits,
she
was
ahead
of
trends
years
back
and
today
when
the
industry
is
changing
shape
for
the
better,
she
is
a
part
of
it.
This
is
why
one
sees
her
in
films
like
Mithya,
Ek
Chalis
Ki
Last
Local,
Dasvidaniya
and
Maharathi
even
as
she
balances
this
out
with
her
mini–skirt
act
in
Singh
Is
Kinng.
A
planned
move,
right?
"You
know,
one
can't
really
plan
these
things",
Neha
replies
after
a
pause,
"Personally
for
me,
earlier
it
was
all
about
taking
up
'a
project'
but
now
it
is
about
taking
up
'good
projects'.
I
am
being
extra
careful
about
the
projects
I
am
a
part
of."
And
what
is
her
criterion
for
a
project
to
be
good?
"The
role
has
to
be
good
whether
it
is
big
or
small",
pronto
comes
her
reply,
"Also
something
about
a
project
in
itself
has
to
be
good.
It
should
make
sense
either
cinematically
or
commercially.
Eventually
it
should
work
with
its
target
audience.
My
funda
is
clear
now
-
either
be
a
part
of
a
good
film
or
a
good
project.
Nothing
really
comes
in
between
this."
Is
this
the
reason
why
she
is
continuing
to
balance
her
films
well?
"You
can
say
that",
smiles
Neha,
"I
have
films
like
Raftaar
and
De
Dana
Dan
with
Emraan
Hashmi
and
Akshay
Kumar/Katrina
Kaif
respectively.
On
the
other
hand
there
are
also
films
like
Raat
Gayi
Baat
Gai
and
I
AM
24
with
Rajat
Kapoor.
So
it's
all
happening!"
