Prachi Desai joins the Bhatt camp

Apart from signing the Abbas-Mustaan production Life Partner and two films with Sunil Shetty, Prachi has now signed a film with Mahesh and Mukesh Bhatt's Vishesh Films. Mukesh Bhatt says, "Yes, we have signed Prachi for Jashan opposite Adhyayan Suman. She was the choice of the director duo, Hasnain and Raksha, after they saw Rock On!!. I met Prachi and liked her. She's very charming. What I liked most about her is that she's self-made."

He adds, "Prachi is from Surat and at such a young age, has made a mark for herself. I like such people. In Jashan, Prachi's character provokes Adhyayan not to conceal his identity. He's embarrassed and ashamed of his roots. She wants him to be his real self."

Jashan tells of the journey of one of the millions of hopefuls who have dreams of becoming a somebody but don't have a personality to make it big. "Jashan is somewhat similar to my own life," says Bhatt. "Till I made autobiographical films, I was never recognised. In my formative years, I would imitate the icons of that time but the day I just became myself, I found fame."

Talking about Adhyayan, Bhatt says, "He has the charm, energy and looks to make it. According to Bhatt, Jashan will be a musical with tracks by various composers. "There's a young Pakistani talent, Naumad, who has given a track as well as Taufiq from Sa Re Ga Ma Challenge show.
