Priyanka to handle two at a time

If the film releases indeed stick to the plans, November 2008 would be busiest ever month that Priyanka Chopra would have in her entire lifetime. Reason? There is not one, but as many as two of her films lined up for release this winter. Worse, these films arrive in a matter of fortnight. This means that if there is no change in the plan, it would create a record for a mainstream leading lady to see two huge releases arriving back to back.

We are talking about Fashion which has been set for 14th November release followed by Dostana which is sighting 21st November as the D-day!

Though Madhur Bhandarkar and UTV had made their intentions quite clear long time back about Fashion arriving on the said date, announcement of Karan Johar's Dostana has comes as a shock. With both the films being biggies and huge money involved, it certainly doesn't appear as a sane decision to have them eating each other's business, especially due to the same leading lady as the central protagonist.

While Fashion revolves around Priyanka Chopra with Kangana Ranaut, Mugdha Godse and Arjan Bajwa providing her ample support, Dostana is huge with Abhishek Bachchan, John Abraham and Bobby Deol as the film's leading men.

There is another interesting angle involved with arrival of these films around the same time. Victory which stars Priyanka's real life Harman Baweja is also slated for 14th November release which would make it a lover's clash at the box office. On the other hand it may well lead to trouble in paradise for father-son 'jodi' of the Bachchans since Abhishek's Dostana would be clashing with dad's Aladdin And The Mystery Of The Lamp on 21st November.

Yes, we can already see some huge juggling around the release dates this November!
