Rab Ne makes it to the Oscar Library

Shahrukh Khan's Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi has had quite an unusual run in its first two weeks. Unlike other SRK movies it did not have a grand opening but later picked up. But the movie seems to have impressed the selectors at the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts & Sciences Library. They have requested Yash Raj Films to share with them a copy of the movie's script which will be a part of Oscar Library's permanent collection.

It is no mean achievement to be a part of this prestigious library. The scripts are used by students, researchers and film-makers from around the world to study cinema. The screenplay of the movies are not disclosed to prevent any form of plagiarism. Some other Bollywood movies which have become a part of this collection include Rock On, Sarkar Raj, Namastey London and Gandhi My Father.
