Rajiv to tie knot with Himani Rawat

Diamond merchant and film financier Bharat Shah's son Rajiv will soon be getting hitched to Himani Rawat, a small-time model from Delhi. Himani started off as a VJ for Channel [V] after she became a model but nothing much came out of her modelling career. She also did bit roles in Yash Raj Films' Mohabbatein and Yaadein.

Says a source, "Himani has been dating Shah's son Rajiv for the last few years. They met at a party and started dating. Rajiv and Himani have already been engaged for the last two years. The family is now gearing up to fix the marriage date.

The buzz is that although the Shah family isn't particularly thrilled about this match, they've given the nod to the pair. Rajiv is completely besotted with Himani. Relatives and close friends have been officially informed about the impending shaadi. The ceremony is likely to take place sometime this year."

Bharat Shah admits, "Yes Himani and Rajiv wish to get married. It's a love marriage and my wife and I approve. Currently, we are in the process of finalising the marriage date. But it won't be very soon or even in the next couple of months."
