Reeth Mazumdar signed for a Pakistani film

Reeth Mazumdar has been signed by an eminent Pakistani director Siraj Ul Haq for his film Chandi. Siraj was on a visit to India for for the South Asian Foundation Film Festival in Goa. Siraj saw Reeth's pictures and immediately signed her for his next venture. Reeth considers herself to be lucky as at the initial stage of her career she will be acting in a Pakistani movie. She has also acted in Tamil, Telugu and Bengali movies

Reeth was always fascinated by acting, as her grandfather was an ace editor in Bengali films but never in her wildest dreams had she thought that one day she would pursue it. Reeth says "Especially because I had no contacts in the film industry at all. I thought it was tough battle if one wanted to establish oneself here. I guess I was destined to be here!" as her debut film is directed by Soorya an assistant to Ram Gopal Varma and Sriram

Reeth will soon be seen starring opposite Kanish Kangwal in film Aaja Gunaah Kar Le directed by Soorya. Apart from acting Reeth has a great passion for music and reading. She also loves to dance and knows belly dancing, salsa, lambada, jazz, reggae, samba and Kathak. She is currently engaged in a few assignments down South.
