Riteish Deshmukh is back in Mumbai after 45 days of jet-setting around USA and UK for The Unforgettable Tour. Though he missed his family (CM dad Vilasrao Deshmukh, mom Vaishali, and brothers Amit and Dheeraj), Jaya Bachchan made him feel like a part of her family. Undeterred by the controversies swirling around Jaya Bachchan, Riteish continues to remain very fond of the fiery and forthright actress. He says, "We toured for a month-and-a-half but not once did I miss home. On the odd occasions that I did, Jayaji took so much of care of me that I soon forgot about it.

She's a warm and motherly person. She made sure that I ate my breakfast, lunch and dinner at the right times and mothered me as she did Abhishek. I was treated like family by Jayaji and the rest of the Bachchans. We would try and have all our meals together as much as we could. In that sense, the trip has become truly unforgettable for me."

They group would also go out shopping, dinners and events together. Riteish says, "We went for a couple of musicals including the Sirque de Sulay or the Circus of the Sun which has acrobats performing as in a circus. We lived together for 45 days and getting to know each other and travelling together was so wonderful."

Riteish says because of the Unforgettable Tour he got over stage fright finally. He says, "This was my first live performance though I have compered at awards events before. At the first performance in Toronto, I was nervous and sweating. When the curtains go up and you hear so many people shouting, you feel a little nervous initially but then it only gets better."
