Saif Ali Khan takes up arms

Saif Ali Khan has finally decided to take up arms. After playing too many romantic roles in movies like Dil Chahta Hai, Kal Ho Naa Ho and Hum Tum and some off beat roles in Omkara and Tashan, Saif will be playing a terrorist for the first time in his career. The movie will be a directorial debut for Rensil D'Silva who had written the script for Rang De Basanti

The untitled movie will be produced by Karan Johar and will be a totally different from his genre of movies without the lavish sets and glamour. Karan is said to have fallen in love with the script immediately after listening to it. The movie will have Saif playing an urban educated terrorist. It will also have his ladylove Kareena in one song.

Saif will be the third actor after Aamir Khan and Shahrukh Khan to play a terrorist on screen. Aamir had done it in the movie Fanaa and Shahrukh will be seen playing a terrorist in another Karan Johar production My Name Is Khan.
