In
an
age
where
money
rules
head
and
heart,
Heyy
Babyy
director
Sajid
Khan
has
allowed
his
heart
to
rule
his
head.
Sajid
turned
down
a
9-crore
offer
to
direct
a
film
for
Shailendra
Singh
of
Percept
Picture
Company!
Sajid
confirms,
"Yes.
Shailendra
did
offer
me
Rs
9
crore
to
direct
a
film
for
Percept.
It
was
very
kind
of
him
but
I
declined.
I
told
him
I
had
to
direct
Sajid
Nadiadwala's
film
as
he
was
the
only
person
to
give
me
a
break
with
HB.
Not
just
Percept,
other
corporates
have
offered
me
11
crore
and
a
percentage
of
the
profits."
Sajid
says
he
chose
to
turn
down
these
huge
offers
because
of
"moral,
emotional
and
legal
reasons.
I
am
very
attached
to
Nadiad
(as
Sajid
is
fondly
called),
he's
my
best
friend
and
I
have
a
three
film
contract
with
him
including
HB.
I
told
Shailendra
'when
no
none
was
willing
to
make
my
film…
he
came
to
my
rescue'.
Nadiad
loves
me
a
lot
and
I'll
do
anything
for
him."
Sajid
is
very
confident
about
his
next
film
with
Nadiadwala
starring
Akshay
Kumar,
Riteish
Deshmukh
and
Deepika
Padukone.
Says
Khan,
"I
am
not
confident
but
very
sure
that
my
second
will
be
the
biggest
hit
of
2009
and
I
openly
challenge
any
director
who
feels
otherwise.
Akshay
and
Riteish
will
be
doing
stuff
in
my
film
that
they
haven't
done
before."
Sajid
Nadiadwala
says,
"I
am
extremely
happy
that
my
judgment
in
Sajid
Khan's
calibre
is
being
acknowledged.
This
reinstates
confidence
in
my
company's
policy
of
entrusting
big
canvas
projects
to
debutante
directors.
Sajid
and
my
equation
is
far
above
economics.
We
are
like
brothers
and
my
banner
is
like
his
home
production.
HB
was
just
the
beginning
of
what
our
team
is
going
to
achieve
in
years
to
come."
