Mithun returns as Salman's father

Salman Khan starrer Veer directed by Anil Sharma has a new addition to its cast. The film would have Mithun Chakraborty in the role of Salman's father. Director Anil Sharma said, "Yes, we have signed Mithun Chakraborty for Veer. He has an important character and is playing Salman's father in the film. We are yet to finalize the rest of the cast", says Anil Sharma.

Shooting for this period flick kick starts in Mumbai in the month of August.
