Shahid joins the war against terror

After the recent blasts in New Delhi the tinsel town of Mumbai is on high alert. The Government along with Idea Cellular has launched the Alert Mumbaikar campaign. When it comes to Mumbai how can Bollywood be left behind. Shahid Kapoor was the first among the cine stars to be a part of the campaign. A 24 hour Idea Safe Mumbai Helpline number was also launched.

Speaking on the occasion the actor said that the concept appealed to him when he heard about it. It requires the common citizen to do nothing more than being vigilant. Shahid added that it was a very important cause and he was happy being a part of it. On the work front Shahid will be next seen in the movies Kaminay and Paathshaala with Priyanka Chopra and Ayesha Takia respectively.
