It's Chak De football for Shahrukh

Nobody promotes like King Khan. It was Shahrukh Khan who stirred the whole country with his film Chak De India. He highlighted the problems dogging Indian women's hockey through the film. He then went on to cricket by grabbing Kolkata team of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Now, his focus seems to have shifted to football.

He kick-started the fifth Abhijeet Kadam Memorial Foundation football tournament in Pune recently. A big crowd turned up to have a glimpse of their favourite actor and he didn't disappoint them. He said that he plays soccer though he is not very good at it. He recommended everybody to play football or any type of games for that matter, as it makes a person stay fit.

Let's hope King Khan takes Indian football to a higher level!
