Shahrukh copies Amitabh again

Shahrukh Khan has made a habit of copying the Big B. After starring in the remake of his blockbuster movie Don, SRK is all set to star in his version of Nishabd. Shahrukh will be seen romancing a teenage girl in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi just like the Amitabh romanced Jiah Khan in Nishabd. The movie will be directed by Aditya Chopra his first since Mohabbatein eight years back.

Shahrukh will play a 40 years British Indian who comes back to his native country after a personal tragedy and falls in love with a 16 year old Punjabi village girl. It is being rumoured that Aditya Chopra has signed Sonam Kapoor to play the female lead in the movie. It is also know that Yash Raj Films did an extensive talent hunt to find the right girl for the role. But unable to find any suitable candidate Sonam was cast in the movie.

This will incidentally be the third time SRK will be doing what Amitabh has done before. King Khan had replaced Amitabh Bachchan in the television show Kaun Banega Crorepati and then starred in the remake of the movie Don which had not gone down well with the Big B.
