After
having
rejected
producer-director
Karan
Johar's
previous
film
Kabhi
Alvida
Na
Kehna,
Kajol
has
finally
shown
a
green
signal
to
Karan
and
agreed
to
act
in
his
upcoming
film
My
Name
Is
Khan.
Not
only
that
with
this
movie,
Karan
would
be
re-uniting
the
famous
jodi
of
Bollywood,
Shahrukh
Khan
and
Kajol.
In
the
past
the
pair
has
given
memorable
performances
in
films
like
Dilwale
Dulhaniya
Le
Jaayenge,
Kuch
Kuch
Hota
Hai
and
Kabhi
Kushi
Kabhi
Gham.
Most
of
the
film
is
going
to
be
shot
in
California.
Previously
Kajol
had
denied
working
in
Kabhi
Alvida
Na
Kehna
as
it
was
shot
extensively
in
the
United
States
and
her
daughter
Nyasa
was
very
young.
But
this
time
around
the
actress
faces
lesser
problems
shooting
abroad
as
Nyasa
is
five
year
old
now.
The
first
half
of
the
movie
is
based
on
a
true
incident
that
occurred
in
a
couple's
life
and
Karan
Johar
has
already
bought
the
story
rights.
SRK
will
play
a
Muslim
who
gets
wrongly
detained
on
a
flight
as
his
last
name
is
'Khan'
and
the
authorities'
think
that
must
make
him
a
terrorist.
