Court summons Shahrukh, Gauri and Farah

By Staff

Mumbai (UNI) A local court today issued notices to Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan, his wife Gauri Khan and Om Shanti Om director Farah Khan, asking them to remain present in the court on February 22, next year, in connection with an application moved by veteran actor Manoj Kumar.

Mr Kumar contended in the application that the trio failed to comply with the court's earlier order, directing them to delete certain objectionable portions in the film, which showed him in poor light and maligned his image.

Earlier, a local Andheri court had issued summons against the trio directing them to remain present in the court today. Manoj Kumar had filed a petition in the session court, seeking stay of telecast of the film on Sony Entertainment Television.
