Shahrukh a poet at heart

It took just one promo to create a buzz around Samar Khan's upcoming Rahul Bose, Kay Kay Menon, Deepak Dobriyal and Minissha Lamba starrer, Shaurya. But what a promo! With Shahrukh Khan (Shaurya narrator) reciting/narrating some inspirational lines, which go, like this -"Shaurya, Shaurya kya hai? Shaayed ek hausla, Shaayed ek himmat, Hamare bahut andar..." the stage is set and after that many real life 'shoorveers' (bravehearts) like Khairnar, Jessica Lal's sister etc, and their achievements are highlighted, to drive home the message and theme of the film.

When King Khan was quizzed as to whether his full-of-feelings semi-poetic recitation was a pointer to him being a secret poet in real life, SRK came out with a rather serious reply. He revealed that he had never written poetry in real life, but added that he is definitely a poet at heart and loves to read romantic poems.

Coming back to Shaurya, while many big budgeted extravagant projects are being touted as the year's hottest ventures, Shaurya is definitely the dark horse of the year, with enough potential to make a mark at the box-office. Shahrukh Khan's promo is just a precursor to even bigger things to come from the Moser Baer banner!
