Sherlyn's attempt to eradicate illiteracy in India

The hot and sexy, Sherlyn Chopra's philanthropist side came alive at the Radio Mirchi Studio today, where she went on to pledge that, she will not only offer time from her hectic schedule but will also provide monetary support to Pratham, an NGO whose mission is to educate the illiterate children in India.

Sherlyn will be a part of Pratham's Read India movement, an accelerated learning program to help over 60 million children read, write and do basic arithmetic. To eradicate illiteracy at the earliest, Sherlyn is already recording for Read India today and the show is expected to be on air tomorrow.

Since inception the goal of the Pratham team has been to ensure that "every child is in school ... and is learning well". Over the years Pratham has reached out to a million children and with Sherlyn's support hope the illiteracy no more prevails in the society!
