Inside story of Shoot On Sight

Shoot On Sight is no doubt one of the most-awaited films of the year - more so because of the controversies around it. Hollywood actors like Brian Cox and Sadie Frost act along with Bollywood actors Naseeruddin Shah, Om Puri and others in the film. This film produced by Arun Govil and directed by Jag Mundhra has turned controversial because of the topic it deals with – terrorism. Pakistan has banned the film in the country because they are not happy with Pakistani actor Mikaal Zulfikar playing the role of a terrorist. Anyway, the film is based on real life incident that took place in London on July 7, 2005, where suicide bombings claimed many lives. It is ready for release.

In Shoot On Sight, Naseeruddin Shah plays a Muslim police officer at the Scotland Yard. This police officer born in Lahore and married to an English woman, is given the task to investigate the suspected Muslim terrorists. The film brings to light how his superiors and colleagues hampered his investigation.

The film promises big as of now, but will it do well at the box office? Watch out!
