While
the
city
was
under
attack
for
three
days,
Akshay
Kumar,
Sunil
Shetty,
Katrina
Kaif
and
Sameera
Reddy
were
shooting
at
Mehboob
Studios
in
Bandra
for
Priyadarshan's
De
Dhana
Dhan.
The
terror
attack
was
brought
under
control
on
Saturday
night,
and
on
Sunday
night,
the
schedule
ended.
The
actors
came
under
fire
for
shooting
through
the
day
when
the
city
was
burning.
Sameera
says,
"A
TV
reporter
asked
me
how
we
could
sing
and
dance
when
such
grim
tragedies
were
happening?
I
was
so
upset!
Why
should
we
give
in
to
fear
and
paranoia
and
stop
working?
My
make-up
girl
lives
in
Grant
Road
and
though
her
parents
were
psyched
with
fear,
she
drove
down
for
the
shoot
on
Thursday.
Fortunately,
people
around
me
were
supportive
and
did
not
quit
on
me
that
day.
We
worked
through
Thursday
to
all
the
days
and
completed
the
schedule
on
time." Sameera
adds
it
was
producer
Ratan
Jain
who
made
the
shoot
possible.
"We
didn't
know
how
to
react
and
were
sitting
at
home.
Ratanji
sent
the
four
lead
actors
(Akshay
Kumar,
Sunil
Shetty,
Katrina
Kaif
and
Sameera
Reddy)
and
Priyadarshan
an
SMS
asking
if
we
should
shoot.
We
had
a
meeting
where
we
all
agreed
to
shoot.
At
the
shoot,
we
kept
getting
terrible
updates
and
didn't
know
how
to
react.
Hats
off
to
Sunil
and
his
wife
Mana
who
must
have
been
petrified
that
he
drove
down
from
Altamount
Road
in
the
city
to
shoot
at
Bandra."
Sameera
says,
"I'm
angry
and
upset
with
the
attacks.
I
will
not
quit
on
my
city,
my
work
or
my
producer.
But
I
ask
every
person
in
power
who
let
us
down
that
day,
to
quit.
They
had
to
show
us
strength
in
times
of
crisis
but
let
us
down.
I'm
extremely
shaken
by
what
has
happened.
Somebody
needs
to
take
responsibility."
