Sikandar Kher gets too much too soon

Sikandar Kher
There was a time when Sikandar Kher was desperately waiting for his big screen dream to realize. He was working on two films and none of the two seemed to be reaching the finishing line. Both Woodstock Villa and Summer 2007 looked like interesting announcements but somehow Sikandar was still kept waiting for the launch to eventually happen.

Now close to a year after the films should have actually released, both Woodstock Villa and Summer 2007 are complete. Also, for good or for bad, both the films are literally releasing back to back with hardly a fortnight's gap between the two.

In fact one can't remember when was the last time a high profile newcomer saw two of his films being spaced in a manner like this. Considering this, Sikandar now has two-much-too-soon happening for him since while in Woodstock Villa he plays a man with gray shades, Summer 2007 sees him as a medical student who goes through self realisation along with a bunch of friends.

Directed by Hansal Mehta, Woodstock Villa is confirmed for 30th May arrival whereas the current release plan indicates Suhail Tatari directed Summer 2007 to be arriving on 13th June.
