Soha Ali Khan stripped off arms licence

Bollywood actress Soha Ali Khan is in the news again for wrong reasons. Gurgaon District Magistrate Rakesh Gupta has cancelled the arms licence issued to Soha in November 1996, as she was under-aged when she got the licence.

She was only 18 years old when she got the arms licence but a person has to reach 21 years to get it under the Arms Act. However, no action has been taken against her, as the original file relating to the licence has gone missing. Her gun licence became a hot topic of discussion when her father Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi was caught using her rifle to kill blackbuck.

Meanwhile, Soha's counsel V Bhushan Arya is trying his best to get the licence back. He said that it was the duty of the police to check and verify Soha's age at the time of applying, as she didn't hide her age in any way.
