Sonali Kulkarni wants to have fun

Sonali Kulkarni, the talented beauty who has gained success in parallel cinema and very recently in the star-studded reality show, Jhalak Dikhla Jaa aims to take on comedy roles now. The actress who is known for a great sense of humour wants to tap her hidden talent and bring it before the public.

Sonali known for her mimicking skills too, says, "Already I have participated in many serious cinemas, now I want to do something new. Because of my past films, my image in public is that of a serious and mature artist. But now I don't want to show my seriousness and maturity anymore. I am not so old. I am still lively and young to enjoy life at its fullest".

Sonali has crossed barriers and will now be seen in a commercial film, Sirf. The actress was adamant in doing the role which was offered to Rituparna Sengupta because of the comic flavour to it. Though the character of Namita offered to her was a very strong one, the actress preferred to do a light-hearted role, but was forced by the director to accept the role given to her..
