The Unforgettable team prays together

It is the norm rather than the exception in Bollywood to begin each project or shoot with an invocation to the Almighty. Far from home, it isn't any different for The Unforgettable team, which begins each show with a short prayer. Says a source from Wizcraft, "Its a ritual; they pray first, then Abhishek asks, 'What time is it?' and everybody answers together, 'It's showtime folks!' This is the unforgettable cry!

It was Viraf Sarkari's idea, and it has been like that for every show. Right from the first show, Viraf insisted on the prayer. Initially, people was sceptical but now they all love it."It is now understood that no one goes on the floor without the little ritual. Sabbas Joseph from Wizcraft calls it the Wizcraft huddle. "We do it at all Wizcraft events. We all say our individual prayers to our Almighty, then the team holds hands together and shout. It's a huddle together with artistes, performers and technicians."

The Unforgettable just finished their Chicago show. Says Sabbas, "It was rocking! Now we perform at New York on Independence Day. There's a 'meet-and-greet stars' event happening at the HSBC building in NY and the whole things will be projected on a huge LED screen on Times Square. After New York, we will move on to London, Rotterdam and Oberhausen in Germany."
