Vinay Pathak joins Shahrukh in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi

Although actor Vinay Pathak has been around for close to a decade, it is only now that the talented actor is finally getting his due. One can remember seeing him in films like Fire (1998), Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam (1999) and Har Dil Jo Pyar Karega (2000). However, it was only with two surprise hits, Bheja Fry (2007) and Mithya (2008) that his popularity increased by leaps and bounds and he came to be recognized as an actor of merit.

It now appears that Vinay has finally got his big commercial break, as he has been signed by none other than Aditya Chopra, to play an important role in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. As is known, the film ends Aditya Chopra's eight year direction sabbatical and already has Yash Raj's lucky mascot Shahrukh Khan and debutante Anushka Sharma.

While on Vinay Pathak, his fans can check him out in a 'never before role' in next Friday's (June 27th) release, Via Darjeeling and later in the year in the much awaited, Mumbai Cutting.
