Vivek
Oberoi
has
taken
to
working
out
to
acquire
a
good
physique
for
Tips'
next,
directed
by
Kookie
Gulati.
Vivek
first
started
training
for
Mission
Istaanbul,
"The
film
required
me
to
look
like
a
tough
guy
and
I
trained
accordingly
for
that.
But
now
I
am
doing
Tips'
next
which
requires
me
to
look
lean
and
agile
so
I
decided
to
lose
some
weight
for
that.
Apart
from
following
my
nutritionist's
instructions,
I
started
training
in
martial
arts
and
learning
parkour
from
London-based
Dean
Alexandroun,
while
David
was
flown
down
from
Thai
is
teaching
me
ikido,
muay
thai
(Thai
kickboxing)
and
Tae
kwon
do."
Vivek
has
been
training
for
six
hours
a
day,
"It's
a
very
rigorous
schedule
which
requires
me
to
practise
1500
kicks
a
day.
I
start
training
at
6
am.
The
main
focus
is
on
weight
training.
I
need
to
acquire
certain
fitness
and
shape
for
my
character.
I
am
very
particular
about
the
way
I
look
in
every
film
and
have
been
training
under
Satya's
(Satyajit
Chourasia)
younger
brother
Sonu
for
the
last
year
or
so."
Vivek
adds
that
his
nutritionist
Noorie
has
put
him
a
diet
which
helps
him
to
stay
lean.
"Initially,
I
was
shocked
at
the
quantity
of
food
Noorie
had
given
me.
I
cribbed
that
it
was
less
and
thought
it
was
according
to
her
size
as
she's
very
petite
and
delicate.
Then
I
realised
by
weaning
me
off
synthetic
foods
and
putting
me
on
to
natural
organic
foods,
so
I
was
getting
so
much
more
energy.
Now
I
have
protein
shakes,
natural
organic
foods
and
feel
healthy
and
energised
all
day
long.
I
have
also
cut
down
on
my
non-veg
intake
and
am
eating
green
leafy
vegetables,
cereals
and
an
interesting
combination
of
natural
metabolism
enhancers.
I
am
feeling
the
change
in
my
body."
