Zayed
Khan's
quite
known
for
his
generous
streak.
His
wife,
Malaika
was
at
the
receiving
end
of
his
largesse
this
Diwali.
The
actor
shocked
her
with
Rs
9
lakh
-
the
amount
he
won
while
playing
cards
during
the
festive
season!
Says
a
source,
"Like
most
actors,
Zayed
too
loves
playing
cards
during
Diwali
and
every
night,
he'd
go
to
some
friend's
home
to
play
cards.
On
Diwali
night,
he
had
gone
to
a
very
close
friend's
(an
industrialist)
home,
and
won
a
Diwali
bonanza
of
Rs
9
lakh!
The
actor
came
home
and
immediately
gave
it
away
to
Malaika.
That
was
his
Diwali
gift
to
his
wife."
Zayed
is
extremely
reluctant
to
disclose
the
exact
amount.
All
he's
willing
to
say
is,
"Yes,
I
did
win
a
huge
amount
at
a
very
good
friend's
home
on
Diwali
and
I
gave
the
entire
amount
to
Malli
(Zayed's
pet
name
for
Malaika).
At
the
end
of
the
day,
whatever
I
am
doing
it's
for
her
and
my
family." He
adds,
"It's
not
that
I
carry
lakhs
of
rupees
with
me
every
day
-
sometimes
I
don't
even
have
Rs
300
to
boast
about."
Zayed
was
thrilled
to
celebrate
his
baby
Zidaan's
first
Diwali.
He
says,
"I
slowly
introduced
him
to
the
world
of
phuljharis
but
no
crackers.
Malli
always
does
a
puja
every
year
and
we
had
that
too." Malaika
and
Zayed
will
be
celebrating
their
third
wedding
anniversary
in
November
this
year.
He's
given
Malli
her
Diwali
gift.
What's
she
giving
him?
"She
knows
what
I
like
-
I
love
shoes,
watches
and
jackets
but
always
manages
to
surprises
me."
The
actor
is
also
gifting
himself
something.
Zayed
says,
"My
next
purchase
is
a
bike
-
the
super
fast
blue
Ducati
999
which
is
like
the
Italian
Ferrari
of
bikes.
Earlier,
I
had
the
954
Honda
Fireblade
but
sold
it
as
my
wife
didn't
want
me
to
ride.
But
I
got
hooked
on
again
when
I
rode
the
Ducati
on
highways
while
shooting
for
Blue.
But
this
time
to
keep
Malli
happy,
I
will
simply
ride
my
bike
and
not
race
it." Zayed
Khan
will
next
be
seen
in
Subhash
Ghai's
Yuvvraaj.
He
plays
Anil
Kapoor
and
Salman
Khan's
youngest
brother
and
a
rich,
self-centred
megalomaniac.
