Aamir Khan beats Deepika

They have not rubbed shoulders in reel life but Aamir Khan and Deepika Padukone seem to love positive competition. A couple days ago, Aamir beat Deepika in her own game.

Well, we are talking about the doubles badminton match between Deepika Padukone-(dad) Prakash Padukone and Aamir Khan-Aparna Popat at the annual tournament for the Padukone Academy. Prakash Padukone was once a badminton champion and Deepika too played the game at various levels before taking up modelling and films but Aamir's team defeated the father-daughter team.

Aamir said that Badminton is like ballet dancing, as it requires a lot of control, stamina and mental strength. He added that he has been addicted to the game ever since he started playing a few years ago.

Apart from badminton, Aamir also opened up on his look in his forthcoming film 3 Idiots, where he acts with Kareena Kapoor. He revealed that he has shed the Ghajini look for his role of a student in the new film. He assured that he would sport a distinct look in it like he does in all his films.
