Do
not
let
our
headlines
confuse
you
we
do
not
mean
that
Mr.
Perfectionist,
Aamir
Khan
has
been
denied
US
visa.
We
are
talking
about
another
extremely
talented
actor,
Aamir
Bashir
Khan,
who
was
chosen
to
play
the
important
role
that
of
Shahrukh
Khan's
younger
brother
in
Karan
Johar's
upcoming
My
Name
Is
Khan,
but
could
not
join
the
shooting
in
time
due
to
a
technical
glitch.
Well,
Aamir
Bashir
Khan
needs
no
introduction.
He
came
into
prominence
by
playing
memorable
roles
on
television
shows,
such
as
Sony's
Alpviram
and
Bhanwar.
He
however
made
a
mark
on
the
silver
screen
after
his
portrayal
of
a
powerful
cop
in
the
critically
and
commercially
successful,
A
Wednesday,
for
which
he
received
praises
from
all
quarters.
Aamir
had
been
signed
by
Karan
Johar
to
play
Shahrukh's
younger
brother
but
he
could
not
make
it
to
the
US
as
his
passport
was
on
hold.
And
Jimmy
Shergill,
Aamir's
co-star
in
A
Wednesday,
has
now
replaced
him.
A
thorough
gentleman
and
a
professional,
Aamir
wishes
Jimmy
luck
and
has
absolutely
no
regrets
in
losing
the
role
to
Jimmy.
But
he
does
lament
at
the
way
a
section
of
the
intellectually
bankrupt
media
made
him
out
to
be
victim,
whose
US
visa
was
denied
because
of
him
being
a
muslim,
while
another
section
went
on
to
declare
him
a
publicity-hungry
novice!
Aamir
now
looks
forward
to
other
projects,
which
include
a
full
fledged
role
in
Vivek
Agnihotri's
Himmat
Singh
Ki
Symphony
and
a
guest
appearance
in
Aamir
Khan's
productions.
But
more
on
that
later!
