By By: Subhadeep Bhattacharjee

The coming General Elections might be the most glamorous in the country's history. After Sanjay Dutt decided to try out his Gandhigiri in the battle ground of Uttar Pradesh it is now the turn of Bachchan bahu Aishwarya Bachchan. The leaders and workers of Samajwadi Party are keen on fielding the former Miss World for the Madhepura Parliamentary constituency.

Janata Dal United leader Sharad Yadav will contest from the seat which he lost to Lalu Prasad Yadav in the last elections. A large number of party workers have requested senior party leaders Mulayam Singh Yadav and Amar Singh to persuade Aishwarya to contest the elections. Ash's mother-in-law Jaya Bachchan is a Rajya Sabha MP from the party.
